Ugrad Web Evaluation: Game Rules

This game evaluates the Undergraduate Labs section of the Undergraduate Web. For a more detailed look at the game, please read the Introduction section.
The game rules are as follows:

Note: "you" refers to the participant

  1. Put your name on the evaluation form, the blank sheet, and the envelope.

  2. Using the cut-up strips of paper, group the items into groups of what YOU think are appropriate sizes (not too big, not too small).

  3. If there are any new items that you think should be included in the Undergraduate Labs section of the Undergraduate Web, write each one down on a pink post-it note and place each note in the appropriate group.

  4. If there are any items that you don't think should be in the Undergraduate Labs section of the Undergraduate Web, put them into a group named "TRASH".

  5. Name each group and put each group name on a yellow post-it note. Stick each group name on top of the group. (Do this for the "TRASH" group too, if you have one.)

  6. Number each of these groups EXCEPT the "TRASH" group if you have one (you don't have to order the groups, just give each one a number for easier identification). Start with "1".

  7. On the blank sheet, put each group's name and number down, in numerical order. DO NOT include the "TRASH" group (if you have one).

  8. On the evaluation form, cross out any items you put into the "TRASH". Add any new items (from pink post-it notes) to the blank rows at the bottom of p.2 of the form. If you have more new items than the blank rows available, write them below the last row.

  9. For each remaining item, place a check in the box under its group's number. The columns are numbered from 1 to 10. If there are more than 10 groups, add columns. NOTE:you DO NOT have to use all 10 columns.

  10. Staple each of the groups together (with the yellow group-name post-it on top). (Do this for the "TRASH" group too, if you have one).

  11. Place the stapled groups, the blank sheet (with group names and numbers), and the evaluation form in the envelope. Seal the envelope with tape or a staple.
